We are using Coco Apricot Crème wax, which is gluten-free, toxin-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, and skin-safe, and comes from renewable sources. This luxurious Coco Apricot Crème container wax is a vegan blend of natural apricot and coconut oil, along with a small amount of highly refined food-grade paraffin wax.

The Fragrance oils that are used in our candles are Non-toxic, phthalate-free Fragrance Oils that are FREE from carcinogens, reproductive toxins, and other potentially hazardous chemicals.

*Always burn candles long enough for the wax to melt across the container before blowing out the flame to avoid the formation of a tunnel in the wax, which will shorten the life of the candle.

*Please, for the first time burn, allow 1-2 hours after lighting for the scent to start being noticeable because the scent is released through the evaporation of the fragrance from the melted wax

*Make sure that your wick is always trimmed to 1/4’’ before burning. To be additionally safe, when the wax level is 1/4" from the bottom of the container, you should discontinue use and avoid the possibility of the container cracking. Glass containers are particularly fragile, and heat concentrated in one area could cause the glass to break.

*Always burn your candle within sight.

*Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

*Drafts decrease a candle's burn time and cause uneven burning, smoking, and diminished scent throw.

*Always use caution! The container may become hot while burning.

*Keep away from flammable objects, children, pets, and drafts.

*Keep the wax pool free of matches, wick trimmings, and debris at all times.

*Once your candle is done, please re-purpose your container by washing it with soap and warm water.

What causes a candle to smoke, and what can I do about it?

***If the wick becomes too long, or an air current disturbs the flame’s teardrop shape, small amounts of unburned carbon particles (soot) will escape from the flame as a visible wisp of smoke. Any candle will soot if the flame is disturbed. To avoid this, always trim the wick to ¼ inch before every use, and be sure to place candles away from drafts, vents, or air currents.

What is the basic need to know about burning a candle safely at home?

***Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles when you leave a room or before going to sleep.

***Trim wick to 1/4 inch before lighting

***Follow the 2-foot rule - don't place a burning candle near clothing, books, curtains, or anything flammable.

***Keep lit candles away from drafts, ceiling fans, and any air currents.

***Place candle holders on a stable, heat-resistant surface that is sturdy and large enough to catch any melted wax.

***Place burning candles at least 3 inches apart from one another.

***A burning candle should not be used as a nightlight.

***A candle should not be burned for more than four hours at a time.

***Don’t burn a candle all the way down. For a margin of safety, discontinue burning a candle when 1/2 inch of wax remains in the container

Is my candle biodegradable?

***Yes Coconut Apricot wax is biodegradable. Also, some studies have shown that beeswax, paraffin, and vegetable-based waxes are biodegradable.
